some days are all about papa. While others are for only mama. And some are about papa and mama.
And this day was all about her mama.
Mama needs to hold her,
Mama need to carry her,
Mama need to feed her,
Mama needs to give her all the attention,
Mama needs to talk to her,
Mama needs to look at her,
Mama needs to cuddle her,
Mama needs to hold her hand.
No one can look at her while she’s with me, and no one can take her away. Even papa gets the cold shoulder. Because today was all about mama
… and that’s just fine with me
Being national nutrition month I thought I’d share a breakfast idea that I’ve been loving for Victoria lately.
At a recent trip to whole foods, I finally found these Earths Best Organic Mini Waffles. I’ve been hunting these down and I was so exciting to finally get my hands on them. Plus they were buy one get one free which was the icing on the cake. I picked out the home style and blueberry packs. I put them into the toaster, and paired her waffles with stonyfield blueberry yogurt, and diced mangos.
Victoria isn’t much of a picky eater and will try just about anything on her plate. And as a mommy on the go, I love these quick to grab and make waffles for breakfast. They’re made with 100% whole grains, and are USDA organic which is extremely important to me. I reccomend these to all mommies!

Thank you 💕
Some of the best Sunday’s are spent in bed watching friends and sharing giggles with my best gal
Growing up as a child, the most exciting thing for me was eating a huge feast and then getting to open our gives on Christmas Eve (a Hispanic thing). We waiting until real late to begin to open gift, and I remember being so happy and my heart racing of excitement to know what I received !
But now that I have my daughter, it’s stopped being about gifts. It’s stopped being about how many things I received and if I was given all the things I had asked for. It’s become more about lighting up my daughter faces. Last year she was a month and a half so we opened everything up. This year she was much more involved, ripping her gifts up and having joy written all over her face. The holidays to me means much more, it’s about teaching my daughter the importance of family, love, and appreciating everything you had before you opened gifts. About coming together for family traditions. I could never receive a gift again for Christmas, because all that matters to me is begin able to create a memorable, loving, and blessed childhood for my daughter.
I’m extremely happy to say this Christmas was a success, and I’m already looking forward to next year to see much how Victoria has grown, and being able to continue and maybe even start new traditions. I hope everyone had a safe holiday season, your healthy is well, and your stomachs are full. Xo Jesse
We have officially entered the last month of the year. And to be honest, it makes me pretty sad knowing that I’ll never return to the first year of my daughters life. The year she mad so many milestones, and adventures. To a year were my my honey and I became even closer, and fell more in love. This year is at its end.
Ending November was surreal because I was hoping we kinda just stayed there. Victoria is officially a one year old, walking and even saying a couple of words. She’s becoming so independent every single day, by wanting to do things all on her own with no help at all. It’s amazing how quickly time flew by and poof they’re not babies any more. And yes she still needs me for a lot of things, but slowly but surely she’s achieved so many things alone it makes me such a proud mama bear. The way she smiles for no reason at all, and giggles over anything. The way she screams “mommyyyyyy” and when she finds me she walks as quickly as possible holds on to both of my legs for dear life, kisses my leg, looks up at me and giggles.
To know my little girl will never be this little again.
Then on the other hand, I’m filled with joy and excitement because my daughter is getting bigger ! She’s going to be full on talking and running and playing dress up ! And helping me bake some brownies and cookies. She’ll be dancing and singing in the car with me, and sooner or later will be on our way to preschool. Okay I’m going a little a head of my self. BUT I’m excited for what motherhood has coming up for me. It’s a thrill to know I get to experience life through my daughter all over again, and be able to guide her through it all along side her Prince Charming ( papa – dada ). It’s going to only get better and better from here on out and I can not wait to see my little girl grown even more beautiful and smarter then what she already is.
I’m one very proud mother to Victoria.
We have arrived safe and sounds to New York !
The plane ride was definitely something I was nervous about, since the time of our flight, are the hours V is usually awake. Thank the lord she actually managed to sleep for a little over an hour. The arrival day was very relaxing and allowed us to get situated.
Day 2: I woke up at 8am and wasn’t able to return to bed since our hour was pulled back ! V woke up at 9, and the weather looks beautiful, so I bundled her up put on her Mickey Mouse ears and we went for a walk. The sky was a light grey, a light breeze, with gorgeous leaves everywhere you turned. I loved it, V didn’t freak out about the cold at all. She was actually more interested in placing with all the vibrant leafs. She is really enjoying herself and that’s what I wanted to see.
Vs grandmother took her on a shopping trip to the mall, and she was so tired ( we forgot the stroller back where we are staying ) I ended up carrying her through out the mall. Which I haven’t done in a long time, but it made me feel happy in a sense because she needed me.
This trip is definitely one I don’t want her to forget. It’s special in so many ways. Seeing her family and begin a more active baby. And it’s the last days she’ll spend as a baby before being O N E. Plus it’s her first time experiencing true autumn weather. I know a lot of people say oh she won’t remember. And I know that, on the other hand I take it upon myself to take all the pictures of every single moment to capture her expressions so when she’s older she will remember.

Everything she wore: Carters
Hey guys, Happy FRIDAY !
I wanted to share with everyone this quick simple outfit Victoria wore today. I picked out something real quick to head to the grocery store, and decided to snap some quick pics along the way ! I did an all while out fit, then felt like she needed a little bit of something, and picked out this lovely hair band accessory her aunt bought her and though it went absolutely divine with the contracts of her outfit and dark black hair. I forgot to get a shot of her wearing her shoes, which are white as well from caters. I normally wait until we arrive to out destination to put her shoes on because she normally kicks them off to play with them. or to eat her toes lol. And thats about it, hope everyone enjoys there weekend xo.
